The Bucket List Band of Southern Maryland is a HIGH-ENERGY ROCKIN' DANCE BAND with Joe on lead guitar & vocals, Will on lead Guitar, George on drums, Larry on bass & vocals, and Nancy on vocals & keyboards. Nancy is the good looking one in the above picture, although Larry says he is, but you be the impartial judge how much better looking Nancy is than Larry. Joe, Will, and George have been together for the better part of a decade. They keep the joint jumpin' with classic and contemporary rock.
This family oriented show provides great music for your enjoyment. Come by and say, "Hello Rockers!!!" and meet the newest members of Bucket List. Bring chairs or blankets, and enjoy a high energy show.
Bucket List is a 5-member band featuring lead/rhythm electric guitar, keyboards, acoustic guitar, bass and drums. The diversity in our genre is evident as we cover the greatest hits in Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Alternative, and Mo-town. We have recently added Modern Rock, Dance, and Pop tunes to our play list.
Some of the artists we cover include the Eagles, Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Moody Blues, Linda Ronstadt, Alanna Myles, Marshall Tucker Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Green Day, and Good Charlotte.
We have performed locally in the Southern Maryland area including the La Plata Town Hall Summer Concert Series, The Jaycee’s Hall in Waldorf, The Village Green in Indian Head, Charles County Fair, Hawthorne Country Club (La Plata), Annmarie Gardens (Solomons Island), Apehangers (Bel Alton), Blue Dog Saloon (Port Tobacco), Island Music (La Plata), Regency Stadium (Home of the Blue Crabs) in Waldorf, and Charlotte Hall Veterans Home (Charlotte Hall).
Played at the Leonardtown Wharf on Saturday September 7th for Bushwoodstock III at 3 pm as the last event of the Leonardtown Summer Concert Series. This year, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. This is a six-band jamboree with the headliner band Jay Armsworthy and the Eastern Tradition Band nationally renown outstanding Bluegrass coming a long way to entertain. Bushwoodstock first blasts off with Dylan Gavin and his music who is back visiting from California. The other bands are the Bucket List Band out of Charles County for amazing classic & contemporary rock, Six Gun South for great Southern Rock, The Jazz Pharaohs with Alex Bizzarro, the leader of Higher Standard a wonderful jazz group from Calvert County, teamed with Randy Richie and friends, and Flashback, an ensemble of great rockers, will round out the line-up at the end. All bands are donating their time and talents to this great cause of college scholarships for our young folks. A fine time was had by all for those who came out and enjoyed great music helping out our kids.
My first remembrance of performing was playing “air guitar” and singing to such Rock beasts as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Robin Trower, Uriah Heap, Edgar Winters, Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie as a teen.
My 1streal band was Backwater from Southern MD. A Classic Rock, bluesy, mostly original, high-performance band. I had a hand in writing and performing more than a hundred original, kick-ass songs. I purchased my Gibson “Les Paul” In 1990, and it remains my only bloodless “lover.”
After Backwater dissolved, I had great times playing with “Urgent Sea”, “JoeyDalles and the Duzzin Others”, “Jimmy Rhythm and the Rhythm Breakers”, “The Grateful Feds,” and now “Bucket List.” This diversity in music genre has stoked my passion for dynamics, harmonies, and expressive riffs, in all of my performances and creations.
